Church Services - overview
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, all our usual Church Services were suspended but these have nearly all been reinstated. On this page, bold text highlights current services, and red italic text describes pandemic-related changes that are still in effect.
Since 4th April 2021, we have offered three services of Holy Communion each Sunday - at 8am, 10am and 6:30pm (see Public Worship webpage for further details). We do our best to publish Video Services each week (either live-streamed or pre-recorded). There is also a daily Service of the Word which you can use at home.
Making visitors welcome is a priority at St Michael's. Our current pattern of services is as follows:
Sundays
08:00 Holy Communion (said)
10:00 Holy Communion (live-streamed)
Followed by tea & coffee in the Morlais Room
10:00 Sunday School in the Morlais Room
See information about Sunday School, or visit the Sunday School's own webpages.
18:30 Holy Communion
[ Evensong at 18:30 - still suspended at present ]
[ About ten times a year, we have a less formal All Age Worship or All Age Eucharist service in place of the 10:00 Holy Communion - still suspended at present ]
Wednesdays
10:00 Holy Communion
Followed by tea & coffee in the Morlais Room
First Saturday in the month
10:00 Bereavement Eucharist
A Requiem Eucharist service in commemoration of the departed
Followed by tea & coffee in the Morlais Room
We are always pleased to welcome visitors to church services. Note that times & services sometimes vary, so please consult the Church Calendar for details.
