Church Groups

There are number of informal groups which meet on a regular basis.  Most usually meet in people's houses.  For enquiries, please contact the relevant Group Organisers via the Parish Office.

Credo

Credo is a house group which meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month, to explore our faith in a variety of ways, including courses, media documentaries and books.

New Lane Hill Group

A house group which meets monthly and provides opportunities for Outreach through its wide membership.   The group has an informal Coffee Evening in the summer to plan the next year's programme, which often comprises a range of talks by visiting speakers, a trip to the theatre/cinema, a meditation, a visit to a church, a summer walk, a new year meal etc.

St Michael's Wives Group

A house group which normally meets on the second Tuesday evening of the month.  The group's varied programme includes guest speakers, discussions, outings, activity evenings and meditations.  It is actively involved in supporting many church activities including the Christmas Market, serving refreshments on Sunday morning and baking Simnel cake for Mothering Sunday.

Knit and Natter

An informal group which meets most Wednesdays in the Morlais Room at 13:45 after the Wednesday lunch.  Items knitted by the group have included blankets, hats, jumpers and soft toys.  These have been sent to charities in the UK and Africa.
