20 December 2020

The COVID Response Level of Berkshire is moved from Tier 3 to the new Tier 4.
(Under Church of England guidance, the COVID-secure environment in church meant that pre-booked services were unaffected by this change.)

2 December 2020

The '2nd Lockdown' period ended, with Berkshire being assigned to Tier 2 of the new 3-tier COVID Response System.  Public worship in church was resumed from 6 December, with three pre-booked Sunday Services.
(Live-streaming of the 10:30am Sunday Service was resumed on 6 December.  Publication of pre-recorded Service videos was discontinued.)

15 November 2020

The Annual Meeting of Parishioners and the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) were held on-line at 11:45am on Sunday 15th November.

(Most attendees joined the 'virtual' meeting on-line, and some joined by phone.  The meeting occurred during the second period of COVID-19 lockdown, which meant that attendees weren't able to join the meeting in person.  Agendas and reports had been distributed by email and by post.)

8 November 2020

During the '2nd Lockdown' period, the regular services in church were suspended again.
(Live-streaming of the 10:30am Sunday Service was discontinued after 1st November.  The video publication of a pre-recorded weekly Communion Service was resumed on 8th November.)

3 October 2020

The Zoom Patronal Quiz Night was held on-line at 7pm on Saturday 3rd October.
(Tickets were £2.50 per head, booked through the Parish Office.)

23 August 2020

The 10:30am Sunday Service was live-streamed on the internet each week.
(Publication of pre-recorded Service videos was discontinued.)

12 July 2020

The church re-opened its doors for socially-distanced public worship, with pre-booked Communion Services on Sundays at 8:00am, 10:30am and 6:30pm.
(Private prayer sessions on Saturday afternoons were discontinued.)

The church re-opened its doors for socially-distanced private prayer, with drop-in sessions on Wednesday mornings and Saturday afternoons.

5 April 2020

The church began publishing video of a 'Service of the Word' (or Communion Service), along with the Order of Service – updated every Sunday and on other major festivals.

22 March 2020

The liturgy of a "Service of the Word" was published, for daily use by worshippers in their homes.

The church began publishing text of a "Thought for the Day", which was updated every Sunday and on other major festivals.

Regular church services and public events were all suspended until further notice, in line with Church of England recommendations and the latest UK Government guidance for the COVID-19 pandemic.
