May 2015 - Medieval FayreAfter last year's success it was decided to have another Medieval Fayre in and around the Church. The weather turned out to be very pleasant, albeit with a fair breeze that played havoc with the signage to the different stalls - at one point the caller's notes for the square dancing were blown in all directions. All the usual items were on sale and the cream teas were well received in the Morlais Room. A wonderful sum of around £2,000 was raised for church funds. Some of the activities during the event were captured in the pictures below - square dancing; Knit And Natter crafts; jewellery; stocks and sponges; face and arm painting; book stall; name the bear; raffle; cakes stall; gifts; garden plants; visits to the tower and bells. |
